Seen above is Arenda Burns, our 2016 Parent of the Year award recipient. She points at our newer Parent of the Year plaque, and is now the 20th consecutive parent to be recognized for strong parental support of a College Promoters USA recruit! Her son, Jordan Burns, was our 2,700th athlete to enroll in the program back in August of 2014. He was a star athlete from Marshall H.S. in San Antonio and is attending Colgate University this fall on a full-ride basketball scholarship as a member of the D1 Raiders men's bball program. Arenda truly took this program by the horns, followed our guidance and direction, and attacked the process as aggressively as any parent we've seen in our 20 years from thousands of moms and dads before her! We're very proud to add Arenda Burns to our plaque that will always hang in our offices. She deserves this recognition and is the absolute definition of a "supportive parent."

Ciminoparent
Our 2015 Parent of the Year recipient, Christine Cimino, points at our newest College Promoters POY plaque, as our 19th consecutive parent to be recognized for strong parental support of a College Promoters senior. Her son, Eric Beilman, was a standout athlete at Brandeis H.S. in San Antonio and is attending the University of New Mexico this fall on a full-ride football scholarship as a member of the D1 Lobos. Our hat goes off to Christine for the strong adult support of her son and other teammates of Eric's, on last year's Brandeis Broncos football program.

poy2014Our 2014 Parent of the Year, Pierre Anderson points with his wife, Blanche, at his name on our College Promoters Parent of the Year plaque. Pierre was selected as our 18th dedicated parent, dating back to 1997, to be recognized for his efforts in assisting his son, P.J., to his D-1 fullride football scholarship from Texas State University last February. Our congratulations go out to the entire Anderson family for their successful quest throughout P.J.'s high school career and for him to be able to make his early college decision in May of his junior year at Taft H.S!
