This young lady plays soccer at always strong John Paul II Catholic H.S., competing in highly regarded TAPPS 4A play in the Greater San Antonio Area. As a freshman en-route to their TAPPS State Championship and her 1st Team All-State/1st Team All-District/SA Express-News All-Area Team Honors, Cecilia was a full-time starter on the varsity unit from her Forward position, and also saw some time as a Midfielder. In her sophomore season, Cecilia helped lead her varsity squad to the state finals while once again earning All-District and All-State honors en-route to their 2nd Place finish. As a junior, she helped them earn yet another TAPPS State Championship, and earned her third consecutive All-State/All-District Honors. She was also an important member of the state qualifying track & cross country team her sophomore year. On the select circuit, Cecilia is a FWD/MF on her NB AJAX squad, and was most recently selected for the 2004 South Texas ODP pool, as well. This year as a senior, she earned 1st Team All-State & 1st Team All-District Honors. Ahead of her years athletically and already used to competing at her best in high-pressure situations, to say Cecilia is a young lady to keep a close eye on would be a tremendous understatement!Senior Accolades
