This young man plays football at Elko H.S., competing in highly regarded play in Nevada. As a freshman during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic-shortened season, Eli was dominant from his NG/RB/LB positions and proved himself to be a true ATH that could be utilized in all 3 phases of the game without skipping a beat. As a sophomore, Eli was named to the Nevada Northern 3A 1st Team All-Region RB team, was named the Northern Nevada 3A East Division Co-MVP, and earned 1st Team All-State Honors. As a junior this past year, he earned 1st Team All-State, Team MVP, 1st Team All-North & 1st Team All-Division Honors.
