Athletic Accomplishments

This talented young man plays baseball and is a team leader at Cathedral H.S., competing against some of the top baseball schools in the entire nation in the Del Rey League in Los Angeles, CA. While a sophomore on the varsity unit, Michael was dominant as their leadoff hitter and as a starter in the outfield, where his elite speed did not go unnoticed (also had the most stolen bases on the team) and was a huge reason for his teams overall success. This past summer with the East LA Dodgers Elite College select squad, Michael was a starting MIF alongside multiple D1 athletes while playing "up" with older competition, was routinely hitting doubles and stealing bases, and was also the starting SS for the U17 Connie Mac program that won their League Championship. Identified as a top fall prospect with his Southern California Dukes Scout "A" Team and with his Easton Elite squad, Michael is a standout on the loaded select circuit and continues to impress not only with his top-notch speed in the outfield and on the basepath, but with his raw power and disciplined approach at the plate. Being invited to attend many showcases and college prospect camps from well-respected organizations such as Perfect Game, PBR, and Adidas, Michael shines brightest when eyes are on him and does not shy away from a challenge. Cross training as a soccer play and a starting Center Defense/Striker on the CHS varsity squad, Michael is a natural leader who is very humble and has a "team first" mentality. To say this young man is an athlete to keep a close eye on would be a huge understatement!

A true student of the game and "Jack-Of-All-Trades", Michael possesses qualities not often seen by a young man his age on the baseball field. Possessing a fast swing, elite speed on the bases and in the outfield (6.5/60yd Handheld time), a very high baseball IQ, soft hands in the IF and a quick first step, this young man's diverse skill set in the IF/OF and a the plate make him the most utilized player with his Dukes select squad (had 70 AB's in 26 games) and with his CHS varsity team. No stranger to diving catches in the OF, extra-base hits, getting on base and driving in runs, Michael brings something new to the game and his team each time he steps on the field.
