This young man is a blazing-fast Middle Linebacker at Athens High School. Throughout the season, he has led the highly competitive District 4A-1 (located southeast of the DFW Metroplex) in total tackles, solo tackles, tackles for loss, and he recently posted a 4.54 electronic 40-yard time. As a senior team captain this season, Connor anchored the team’s dominant defense from his MLB position. A varsity starter since his sophomore year, Connor originally was utilized at RB before switching to defense as an upperclassman. While Connor has already proven himself athletically on the varsity football field — at this writing he leads all of 4A-1 in solo tackles — he is also focused on keeping his grades up in order to reach his collegiate goals. As a senior, Connor is carrying a 3.04 GPA, including multiple AP/Dual-Credit courses. He scored a 1010 on his SAT, and, not being satisfied that is reflects his academic capabilities, is scheduled to take it again in December.
