This young man was a stud Running Back at always powerful Shoemaker H.S., competing in highly regarded 6A play in Central Texas. As a senior in 2021, Devin was the full-time starting RB on the varsity unit for the 3rd year in a row, and has made his mark felt offensively when his number is called. A 2x recipient of 2nd Team All-District Honors as a junior and sophomore, Devin proved from a young age that he was more than capable of holding his own against older players without skipping a beat. As a college freshman, he was named Freshman Conference Player of the Year. As a college sophomore, he finished 3rd in the GSC Conference in All-Purpose Yards.
