This 2021 grad plays basketball at Harlan H.S., competing in highly regarded District 28-6A play in the Greater San Antonio Area. As a junior last year, Jaylen was dominant, earning 1st Team All-District Honors for his standout play, and was also named to the Alamo City Hoops Tri-Regions Super 60 List (#57). As only a sophomore, Jaylen saw substantial time on the varsity unit at both Shooting Guard and Point Guard, where his athleticism was fully utilized. Playing his AAU ball with the highly respected HD Toros Elite squad, Jaylen is used as their Combo Guard and has more than made a name for himself on the ultra-competitive select circuit already. In April 2019 at the GASO in Duncanville, Jaylen was named MVP after the Championship game, where they came in 2nd place. Ranked by ScoutsFocus as the #32 ranked Guard in the state of Texas for the 2021 class, and receiving an invite to the 2019 Summer Invitational's for the High School Basketball All-American Showcase in Florida, Jaylen is WITHOUT A DOUBT a young man to keep a close eye on in both high school and AAU play!Athletic Statistics
Standing 6'2"-185lbs as a senior, Jaylen combines his high basketball IQ with his aggressive style of play and his superb court vision to have a BRIGHT future still ahead of himself at HHS, with his HD Toros Elite team, and beyond. In his 2018 summer AAU season, he scored a season-high of 30 points against some of the top talent in the area.
