This 2020 grad plays basketball at Taft H.S., competing in District 28-6A play in the Greater San Antonio Area. As a sophomore, Luis was the starting PG/SG on the varsity unit and was named a Team Captain, after being moved up from the JV squad at the midpoint of the season. In 9th grade, he was the starting Combo Guard & Team Captain on the Freshman "A" Team. Playing his AAU ball with the highly respected SA Dynasty squad, Luis is their starting PG/SG and helped them perform very well in multiple big-time tournaments such as the GASO's across the state of Texas and during "Live Period" play. He was also named the #7 ranked player in Texas for the 2020 class by Scouts Focus.Athletic Statistics
Standing 5'10"-151lbs as a senior, Luis combines his superb court vision with his aggressive style of play and his high basketball IQ to have a BRIGHT future still ahead of himself! While Luis has already proven himself on the varsity basketball courts so far in his high school career to-date, he is also working hard to keep his grades up to reach his collegiate goals. As a senior, Luis is carrying a solid 3.6 GPA, will be taking his SAT/ACT exams here in the near future, and is a member of the A/B Honor Roll.
