This young man plays football at tradition-rich Uvalde H.S., competing in 4A play in South Texas. As a junior this past season, Caden was a full-time varsity starting Defensive End/Deep Snapper en-route to his 1st Team All-District Honors. As a sophomore, he was a 2-way starter at DE/H-Back and was named to the 2nd Team All-District squad. As a senior next season, he will be a full-time starter at MLB and will once again handle the Deep Snapping duties. Most recently, Caden was chosen to wear jersey #21 for his UHS football team, an honor which holds significant meaning to the Uvalde community. The #21 represents the 21 lives lost in the Robb Elementary school shooting that took place in 2022, an event that gripped the nation. Instead of retiring the #21 jersey, UHS has decided to have the jersey be worn by a young man on the football team that represents everything Uvalde and its people stand for: Outstanding character, unselfishness, love for others, and the ability to be a leader in trying times. This honor is not taken lightly - and Caden was chosen to represent not just Uvalde and their community, but to also represent other communities that have faced similar tragedies.

Caden is also focused on keeping his grades up to reach his collegiate goals. As a junior, he is carrying an elite 102.5% GPA, including AP Courses, and scored 26 on his ACT.
