Athletic Accomplishments

This massive 2019 grad is the starting varsity left tackle at O'Connor H.S., competing in District 28-6A play in the San Antonio area. A true D1 prospect,, Brannon earned Unanimous 1st Team All-District honors, earned 3 OL MVP honors, 3 Offensive MVP honors, was named a Top 2019 prospect in the Rising Star Magazine, was named to the Padilla Poll 2nd Team All-State team, and was one of only 100 sophomores in the entire nation that were invited to the US Army All-American Combine at the Alamodome in January 2017, where he eventually earned All-Combine honors (top 15 OL in entire combine). In March 2017, Brannon was named a Top 3 OL at the prestigious Under Armour All-American Combine. As a freshman, he was a starting OG for the varsity, earned OL MVP honors twice and also earned Team MVP honors. Now a junior, Brannon helped guide OCHS to their first ever 10W-0L regular season in school history and to the 4th round of our State Playoffs, earned 3 OL MVP Honors, helped OCHS earn their 2nd consecutive District Championship, helped them defeat national powerhouse Steele H.S. in the eary goings of the season, and received an invite and registered for his 2nd consecutive U.S. Army All-American Combine that took place in January 2018! He was also named a member of the 2017 Dave Campbell's Subway Super Team, earned AP 1st Team All-State honors, 1st Team All-Area  honors, was named to the 2017 1st Team All-USA Today Texas Team, was named the 2017 TSRN San Antonio Football Weekly Offensive Lineman of the Year, and earned Unanimous 1st Team All-District honors for the second consecutive season! Brannon looks to follow in the D1 footsteps of his two older brothers, and is without a doubt on the correct path to do just that!

Already standing 6'6"-304lbs as a junior, this proven O-Lineman combines his brute strength with his aggressive style of play and massive frame to have a bright upperclassman career at OCHS still ahead of him. As a junior this past season en-route to his multiple post-season accolades (listed above), Brannon was credited with an incredible 130 pancake blocks and 14 cutsBrannon has received several D1 offers and has been in communication with some MONSTER college football programs already. He is without a doubt one of the top offensive linemen in the entire nation in the 2019 class.

As tall as Brannon has already stood on the football fields at OCHS so far in his high school career to-date, he also is very focused on his classroom responsibilities. As a junior, Brannon is carrying a 3.9 GPA and earned the Academic Presidential Award. He was inducted into NHS on November 15, 2017, scored 910 on his SAT (retaking May '18), 19 on his ACT and earned Academic All-District honors, as well.
