As a sophomore this season, Averi has already surpassed the 1,000 point threshold while still an underclassman, and has earned both SAISD Tourney MVP Honors and SA Express-News Player of the Week Honors. As a freshman, Averi was dominant with the ball in her hands and earned a multitude of postseason accolades while being utilized at the Stretch #4 position at the H.S. level and also working on her perimeter game.
