Playing her AAU ball with the loaded East TN Air Thunder squad on the ultra-competitive select circuit, Makenzie is a force with the ball in her hands and more than holds her own against elite competition. While Makenzie has already proven herself athletically on the basketball courts at AHS and on the AAU circuit so far in her career to-date, she also understands the importance of keeping her grades up to reach her collegiate goals. As a junior, she is carrying a perfect 4.4 GPA, including Honors/Dual-Credit Courses, and is a member of FCA. Makenzie is also a member of NHS and the Chick-Fil-A leadership Academy.
