This young lady plays basketball at Lutheran H.S., competing in highly regarded TAPPS 4A play in San Antonio. As a sophomore this past year, Maya played lights out, broke the 1,000 career points threshold while still an underclassman, earned 2 separate All-Tournament nods, was named to the SA Express-News All-Area Team and the All-VYPE San Antonio Mid-Size Private School Team, was named District MVP, Team MVP, & to the 1st Team All-State squad (the second year in a row she has garnered All-State Honors)! While she was a freshman, Maya was dominant from her PG position, earning 2nd Team All-State, 1st Team All-District, and two separate All-Tourney nods. Playing her AAU ball with the highly respected SA Finest, Maya is no stranger to elite competition on the ultra-competitive select circuit, and has been playing AAU ball since 4th grade. Also a 1st Team All-District recipient on the varsity volleyball team as both a freshman and sophomore, Maya is WITHOUT A DOUBT a young lady to keep a close eye on!

Currently carrying an excellent 98.9% GPA, including all Pre-AP Courses, Maya is a coach's dream both on and off the court.
