This 2020 grad plays basketball at Mission College Prep, competing in ultra-competitive Private School play in the Central Coast region in California. Now a senior, "Jojo" finished her high school career earning All-League Honors, All-Tourney Honors (Mullahey Christmas Tournament), was named to the SLO All-County Team, and was her teams leading scorer. While only a sophomore, Jojo was named a Team Captain for the varsity unit and was their starting #2 Guard, where her maturity and leadership abilities have played a huge role in their post-season berth. Due to her standout performance, she earned the MCP Jay Cowits Memorial Athletic Award at the end of the season. As a freshman at Arroyo Grande H.S., Jojo was the starting #2 Guard on the JV unit, and helped her 3Ball Academy AAU team win the San Diego MSNM Western Division Championship. Standing 5'5"-128lbs as a senior, Jojo combines her lockdown defense (she is normally asked to guard the opposing teams leading scorer) with her excellent 3-point range and court vision to have a BRIGHT future still ahead of herself. As the teams leading scorer as a senior, Jojo made 64 3-pointers in 26 games played, and scored a season high of 24 points. At the conclusion of her junior campaign, JoJo averaged 12.2 points per game, made 76 total 3-pointers in 27 games (2.8 pg, lead the league), led the team & league in EFG% at 45.3%, and led the team and league with 72 steals (2.7 per game), while scoring a season high of 27 points. As a sophomore, Jojo averaged 6.6 points, 1.4 steals, 2.1 rebounds and ranked third on her team for 3-pointers made. she also ranked 1st on the team in percentage of 3-pointers made. As a freshman on the JV unit at Arroyo Grande H.S., Jojo averaged 11 points, 4 steals, and 4 assists per contest.Scholastic Information
