I believe that if you truly put your mind to something you have the ability to conquer anything standing in your way. There is still room for improvement but you are smart, a quick learner, and you have the ability to be a leader on and off the court."

- Coach Chevrier, RMVC Head Coach

"Amaja Meza is a valuable asset to her team on and off the court. She has gained tons of experience at the varsity level over the past 2 seasons. She has played a key role in our team the last two seasons with her fire personality and intensity towards her teammates and the game; always pushing them to be better as well as pushing herself. She has a great work ethic and finds ways to score points for her team not only as a hitter from both the outside and right side (occasionally in the middle), but also as a strong backrow player in serve receive and defense. Amaja has proved to be a flexible player that can play any position she is asked to step into, with the ability to make quick adjustments during games when asked by her coaches. Her passion for the game is admirable; she always wants to meet the expectations of those around her. I expect big things from Amaja in her junior and senior seasons as a leader with the potential to do incredible things for her team and herself. Off the court, Amaja is always looking out for others and including them to the best of her ability. She has a great attitude towards life and a kind heart that allows her to connect with everyone she comes in contact with. I am grateful to coach such an awesome student-athlete and all around wonderful person. I am looking forward to a bright future for Amaja Meza, not only in volleyball, but in academics and life as well."

-Coach Jordan King, Elko High School Volleyball
