Athletic Accomplishments

This young lady plays volleyball at O'Connor H.S., competing in highly regarded District 29-6A play in the Greater San Antonio Area. As a sophomore as an OH on the loaded varsity unit, Kelli played very well and was not fazed by competing against upperclassmen on a daily basis. As a freshman, she began the year on the JV team before being brought up to the varsity unit midway through the season, where she quickly found herself seeing time in the rotation. 

On the club circuit, she runs with the top tier SA Juniors 17 Adidas squad. Just recently qualified for Nationals in Las Vegas this Summer 2021, keep an eye out for Kelli and her strong club team! In store for a massive upperclassman career and senior campaign next year, to say Kelli Fording is a young lady to keep a close eye on would be a tremendous understatement!

While Kelli has already made her mark athletically on the varsity volleyball courts at OCHS so far in her young career to-date, she is also focused on keeping her grades up to reach her collegiate goals. As a junior, Kelli is carrying an excellent 94% GPA, including almost all Pre-AP Courses, earned 2nd Team Academic All-District Honors, and will be taking her official SAT/ACT exams for the first time in the very near future.
