This young man is reclassifying as a 2022 grad at Victory Rock Prep, competing in Florida. As a senior last year at Central Catholic H.S., Julian was named to the 1,000+ Point Club, the All-Area Team, the San Antonio All-Star Team, tied for the most points scored in San Antonio, led TAPPS 6A play in scoring, earned the Express-News Player of the Week honors, was named to the 2020 All-VYPE San Antonio Boys Basketball Team, and is ranked as the #144 overall prospect in Texas by MaxPreps.com. As a junior, Julian was a full-time starter from his #1 spot, and went on to earn 2nd Team All-District Honors for his standout play. As a sophomore, he was a full-time starting varsity PG/SG. Standing 6'2"-170lbs as a reclassified 2022 graduate, Julian combines his elite court vision with his lockdown defense and his high basketball IQ to have a BRIGHT future ahead of himself in both High School and AAU play. As a senior this past season before reclassifying, Julian averaged 24 points per game (tied for scoring champ here in San Antonio), and led all of TAPPS 6A in scoring en-route to his 1,000+ Point Club finish. En-route to his 2nd Team All-District Honors as a junior, Julian averaged 17.5 PPG, 3 APG, 2 SPG and 4 RPG. While Julian has already proven himself athletically on the varsity basketball courts so far in his career to-date, he is also focused on keeping his grades up to reach his collegiate goals. Now a reclassified 2022 grad, Julian is carrying a solid 3.5 GPA, scored 1050 on his first SAT back in Fall 2019, is a Student Council Secretary, and earned Academic All-State Honors for his strong effort in the classroom as well.
