This young man plays football at always strong Calhoun H.S., competing in highly regarded play in the South Texas/Coastal Bend area. As only a freshman, Darrik was moved up to varsity full-time after Game 4 of the season, where he quickly became a full-time starter at Free Safety en-route to his 2nd Team All-District Honors and his two separate Defensive Player of the Game Honors. As a sophomore on varsity this past year, he earned 6 Player of the Game Awards.
