This young man played football at Boerne Champion H.S., competing in highly regarded District 26-5A play in the Greater San Antonio Area. While a senior, Ryan earned Team MVP Honors, the Charger Offensive Club Award, and 1st Team All-District Honors. As a junior, Ryan earned Unanimous 1st Team All-District Honors for his dominant play at Wide Receiver. As a sophomore, Ryan was a starting WR on the loaded varsity unit that was named Bi-District Champs, Area Champs, Regional Champs, and State Semi-Finalists, and earned Honorable Mention All-District Honors for his standout play. Also used as a Kick Returner and on the Punt Team, Ryan's diverse skill set allows him to be utilized all over the field. As a freshman, he began the year on the JV unit before being brought up to the varsity squad for their Playoff run. While Ryan has already proven himself athletically on the football fields, he is also a standout in the classroom. As a senior in high school several years ago, Ryan was carrying a whopping 103% GPA (4.3), including AP & dual credit courses. A natural leader, Ryan served on the FCA Leadership Team, the Football Leadership Counsel, and hosted a bi-weekly Bible Study for his peers at his home. He was also iinducted into both NHS and Spanish NHS. He also earned Academic All-District Honors and 2nd Team Academic All-State Honors for his academic performance, and was a 3 sport varsity athlete (Football, Baseball, Track & Field).
