This young man is playing his senior year of football at Tonganoxie H.S., competing in highly regarded play in Kansas. In his final year of high school play, Tyler earned All-Frontier League First Team Honors and the 2020 Frank Fontana Award. As a junior at Free State H.S., Tyler was dominant from his RB position, earning 1st Team All-State and 1st Team All-Conference Honors. As As a sophomore,Tyler was a starter on the varsity unit at RB, and also saw time at DB on the defensive side of the ball as well. As a freshman, he earned his varsity letter and proved he could hold his own against older competition without missing a beat. Also a 2 year varsity track standout in the 100m, 200m & 4x100, Tyler is a true dual-sport athlete and a young man to keep a close eye on!Athletic Statistics
Standing 5'8"-170lbs as a senior, Tyler combines his downhill style of running with his excellent field vision and his ability to be utilized on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball to have a BRIGHT future still ahead of himself at FSHS and beyond. As a junior last year en-route to his multiple postseason honors, Tyler rushed for 1,920 yards and a whopping 28 TD's, averaging 9.7 yards per carry. As a sophomore, Tyler was credited with 14 TD's and averaged 9.2 yards per carry. As a freshman, he scored 4 TD's and saw significant snaps despite his young age. Ahead of his years athletically, Tyler is going to make whichever college coach he winds up playing for down the line VERY happy.*Tyler is currently a 3 time school record holder at Free State H.S. in season rushing yards, season points scored, and career points scored
