This 2021 grad is playing his high school basketball at always powerful O'Connor H.S., competing in District 28-6A play in the San Antonio area. As a junior, Isaac was the starting PG on the varstity squad for the second year in a row en-route to his Unanimous 1st Team All-District Honors. As a sophomore en-route to his 2nd Team All-District honors, Isaac was the full-time starting PG on the loaded varsity unit that made it to the 2nd round of our 6A State Playoffs. As a freshman, Isaac was the starting PG/SG on the JV unit, and performed very well in his first season of high school play. Standing 5'11"-180lbs as a senior, Isaac combines his excellent jump shot with his lockdown defense and leadership qualities to have a bright future ahead of himself at OCHS and beyond. As a junior, he averaged 12.3 ppg, 4.8 apg (154 total - OCHS single season record), 2.0 spg (65 total), and 2.5 RPG. As a sophomore on the varsity unit, Isaac averaged 5 points and 2.7 assists per contest, shot 36% from the 3 point line, 39% from the field, and 74% from the FT line. Most impressively, Isaac finished the season with 49 steals and 41 deflections while guarding the opposing teams top guard or scorer each night! As a freshman on the JV unit, Isaac averaged 10.5 points, 3 steals, 4 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game while shooting 40% from behind the arc (made 20 3-pointers on the year), 42% from the field, and 71% from the charity stripe. As tall as Isaac has stood on the basketball courts so far in his career to-date, he also understands the importance of his performance in the classroom. As a senior, Isaac is carrying a perfect 4.0 (100.56%) GPA, ranks in the Top 3% of his massive class (24/807), earned second consecutive 1st Team Academic All-District honors, is a member of NHS, his church youth group, has volunteered with the Food Bank, scored 1320 on his SAT, 31 on his ACT, and recently joined a volunteer organization called SASO (Scholars & Athletes Serving Others).
