This 2021 grad is playing his upperclassman career at state champion Antonian College Prep HS, competing in always tough TAPPS 2-5A play in San Antonio. As a junior last season en-route to ACP's State Champ season, Freddy was dominant, and earned 2nd Team All-State Honors for his play. As a sophomore at Poth H.S., Freddy was a full-time varsity starter, earned 2 Tourney MVP awards, and was named the District Offensive Player of the Year for his dominant performance. As a freshman, he saw starting time on the varsity unit at the Wing/FWD spot en-route to his 2nd Team All-District honors. No stranger to elite competition, Freddy has been a force on the ultra-competitive AAU circuit for multiple years, and is currently running with ProSkills San Antonio. In his 2018 AAU season with the Texas Tigers, he was named an All-Star at the Future150 All-Southwest Camp, where college coaches were on-site at. Standing 6'4"-195lbs as a senior, Freddy combines his aggressive style of play with his high basketball IQ and his ability to be utilized at multiple positions to have a BRIGHT career still ahead of himself at ACPHS, with his ProSkills SATX AAU squad, and beyond. En-route to his District Offensive Player of the Year honors as a sophomore, Freddy averaged 19 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks per game while shooting 33% from behind the 3-point line and 55% from inside the arc. While Freddy has already proven himself athletically on the basketball courts in both high school and AAU play to-date, he is also focused on keeping his grades up to reach his collegiate goals.
