As only a sophomore, Santiago was the #3 on the varsity unit and earned the "Bronco of the Year" award. As a freshman, he began the year as the #2 on the JV unit before being moved to the #1 spot. As a junior, he was their #1/#2, and is continuing to play in multiple STPGA events heading into his senior year. While Santiago has already proven himself on the course at Brandeis H.S. so far in his young high school career to-date, he is also focused on keeping his grades up to reach his collegiate goals. As an incoming senior, Santiago is carrying a perfect 4.0 GPA, including Pre-AP courses, is a member of NHS, GT Leadership, the Duke TIP Program, was selected to attend the Leadership Summit for NISD, and received an invite to the National Hispanic Recognition Program (NHRP) through College Board. He scored 25 on his ACT, 1400 on his SAT, and scored in the top 2.5% on the PSAT/NMSQT as well.
