This 2020 grad plays golf at Brandeis H.S., competing in highly regarded District 28-6A play in the Greater San Antonio Area. As only a sophomore, Santiago was the #3 on the varsity unit and earned the "Bronco of the Year" award. As a freshman, he began the year as the #2 on the JV unit before being moved to the #1 spot. As a junior this year, he is likely to be their #1/#2, and is continuing to play in multiple STPGA events heading into his upperclassman career. Santiago is WITHOUT A DOUBT a young man to keep a close eye on as a junior and senior!

While Santiago has already proven himself on the course at Brandeis H.S. so far in his young high school career to-date, he is also focused on keeping his grades up to reach his lofty collegiate goals. As a junior, Santiago is carrying a perfect 4.0 GPA, including Pre-AP courses, is a member of NHS, GT Leadership, the Duke TIP Program, was selected to attend the Leadership Summit for NISD, and received an invite to the National Hispanic Recognition Program (NHRP) through College Board. He scored 25 on his ACT, 1260 on his SAT, and scored in the top 2.5% on the PSAT/NMSQT as well.
