This 2021 grad plays football at Taft H.S., competing in District 28-6A play in the San Antonio area. As a senior this season in his third year on the vasrity unit, Diego has been named Team Captain for the second year in a row and earned 2nd Team All-District Honors. As only a sophomore, Diego was the starting RB in 7 of their 10 games this season on the varsity unit. As a freshman on the "A" Team, Diego was dominant in all 3 phases of the game. As the starting RB on offense, a starting LB on defense, and their Kicking Specialist (Punt, Field Goal, Extra Point), it was obvious that Diego is athletically ahead of his years!. Standing 5'10"-190lbs as a senior Team Captain, Diego combines his aggressive style of play with his high football IQ and his ability to dominate at multiple positions to have a BRIGHT future still ahead of himself at THS and beyond. En-route to his Team Offensive MVP (Week 1) honors as a junior, Diego rushed for 3 TD's and over 100 yards in the first half!
