This 2020 grad plays baseball at St. Joseph H.S., competing in highly regarded TAPPS 4A play in Southeast Texas. As a junior, Ricky was a standout as a a RHP and as a MIF/3B on the varsity unit, where he was a full-time starter for the 3rd consecutive season. Also dominant as a Middle Infielder (2B/SS) and at 3B, Ricky is a true "jack of all trades" whose diverse skill set makes him an incredibly valuable asset to his team. Standing 5'8"-170lbs as a junior, Ricky combines his excellent glovework with his high baseball IQ and his stout 3-pitch arsenal to have a BRIGHT future still ahead of himself at SJHS and beyond. As a sophomore & junior, Ricky led his team in doubles, triples, and made many standout plays as a MIF. Consistently throwing his fastball at 83-86mph, Ricky also has a nasty curveball and dominates when throwing his change-up, which is his favorite pitch.
