Athletic Accomplishments

This 2020 grad plays football at Park Hill H.S., competing in highly regarded 5A play in the Kansas City Metro Area. As a junior this past season, Michael was the starting Kicker on the varsity unit, and was named the Special Teams Player of the Year at the end of their campaign. With a personal best 60 yard FG attempt in practice and able to hit consistently from 45 yards out, Michael is WITHOUT A DOUBT a young man to keep a close eye on!

Twitter: @hoveykicker

A perfect 19/19 in Extra Point attempts this season and able to put the ball through the end zone on kickoffs (as well as being good at onsides, pooch & squib kicks), Michael is going to make whichever college coach he winds up playing for down the line VERY happy.

Camp Invites:
Kansas State - won the Accuracy Competition
Kohl's Kicking

Offers (to-date):
Midland State University
Northwest Missouri State
Avila University
Culver-Stockton College
Brevard College
Benedictine College

Upcoming Schedule & Recent News

While Michael has already proven himself on both the football fields and tennis courts at PHHS so far in his high school career to-date, he is also focused on keeping his grades up to reach his collegiate goals. As a junior, Michael is carrying an excellent 3.88 GPA, including multiple AP courses, earned his Academic Letter, is an Assistant Manager at his job, and will be taking his college entrance exams here in the near future. For more information on this bright & well-mannered young man, contact our Kansas City Metro Area Director, Dionandre Josenberger, at (816) 602-4235. He showed superior ball height, and will benefit by driving the ball (especially on kickoffs a bit more). On Page 2 is an side-by-side of Michael and Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker, from our work with Butker this summer. Notice the foot position of Harrison’s foot compared to Michael’s. His heel is slightly higher and his laces face the ball more, which turns his knee downfield. Michael’s knee is facing the sideline. This is one reason why Harrison is currently the best kickoff specialists in the NFL! Michael can play college football somewhere, and I think it would benefit him to come to a showcase this December, as we’d like to see how he competes against his recruiting class. I can see him easily as a DII starter to a preferred walk-on DI kicker. His kickoffs must develop to be a scholarship Division 1 kicker- but I think he can get there if he puts in the work over the next 8 months. REALLY looking forward to seeing how he progresses between now and his senior season!" -Coach Bret
